Follow Instagram users on Threads

To follow Instagram users before they join Threads, use these steps:

  1. Open Threads app.
  2. Click the Profile button in the bottom-right corner.
  3. Click the menu (two lines) button in the top-right corner.
  4. Click the “Follow and invite friends” option.
  5. Click the “Follow accounts from Instagram” option.
  6. Click the “Follow” button for each of the Instagram accounts to follow once they are in Threads.
  7. (Optional) Click the “Follow all” button.

Once you complete the steps, when the user joins Threads, your account will start following them automatically. In the case that the user joins the new platform but the account is set to private, the person will have to accept the request manually.
