Microsoft has introduced the new Surface Laptop 5, a new version of the company’s clamshell laptop. The new device (similar to the design approach for the Surface Pro 9 ) retains the same look as its predecessor but with updated internals and refinements.
In this version of the laptop, the company continues to offer two 3:2 PixelSense display sizes, including 13.5 and 15-inch models. However, this time, it’s ditching the AMD and only using Intel 12th Gen processors with the Evo platform (beneficial for business customers). You can get the Surface Laptop 5 with up to 1TB of internal storage and up to 32GB of memory.
According to the company, the Surface Laptop 5 is 50 percent more powerful than the Laptop 4 and has up to 18 hours of battery life for typical usage.
